About this property

Located in the beautiful Gillentown Valley and surrounded by huge gums, our meticulously restored 140 year old cottage and garden is a great place to stay and unwind or discover the horticultural talents of the Duncan family. Within a 10 minute drive of the cottage, there are numerous wineries and restaurants for you to discover and enjoy.
The cottage has one bedroom, so perfect for a couple although one other adult could be accommodated as there is a sofa bed in the sitting room, which has a cosy romantic open fire (along with marshmallows to toast!). With good basic cooking facilities, full breakfast provisions and a relaxed atmosphere for our guests, it is perfect for that quiet getaway or a base to discover the Clare Valley.
We also provide complimentary cheese and Clare Valley wine on arrival, Port and delicious Haigh's chocolates, air conditioning, Queen size bed (with fresh linen), coffee pod machine, Twinings teas, electric blanket (in winter), hair dryer, DVD player, Radio/CD player as well various DVD's and CD's to choose from (but … no TV reception, just enjoy the peace!).
And best of all there is Walter Duncan’s Rose Garden to wander around at your leisure.
Cancellations: If more than 14 days notice is given, a full refund will be made. Between 7-14 days notice will incur a 50% charge. If less than 7 days notice, no refund will be given.
